Leopold and Mateo von Veltheim are the two founders of Baron Veltheim.

Mateo comes from a long line of winemakers, so wine was practically in his blood. Growing up on his parents' vineyard in Rheinhessen, he spent the last three years studying at the renowned Geisenheim University, during which time he created his first wines. He lovingly tends to the vineyards, ensuring everything runs smoothly – from the vine to the bottle.

Leopold is an entrepreneur from Munich and knows exactly what a good wine should taste like. Thanks to his strong international network and his many years of experience in fine dining and hospitality, he is the perfect representative for Baron Veltheim and takes care of all commercial matters and sales.
